Hard Hand pangkin (part 2)

Mr Hubby starting design my raised floor aka pangkin...
At first, I asked him whether he wants help from any Indon carpenter..but he refused.. We bought of second hand hard wood and new papan for the floor...
This was a weekend project. A two day project.. Although we don't hv enough rest, but the end product was sooo... SATISFIED... hehehhe...furthermore, we SAVE A LOT!!!

yup. I know.. Ehem.. Ya...Yea... Ok.. Not yet.. Lama lagi..hahhaha.. Sibuk gila kentang... Dh x buat dh ke cik didot oi...emmm..alahai...lotih omak nak menjawap...ptut la owang yg butul2 suke buat blog ni suke sangat2 membebel-bebel sambil tap..tapp...tap.. key bod tu.. heeeiii ridiculous (btul ke ejaan den ni... tp kalu si donkey shrek tu, dio sobut 'redonkeylous'... korang dh tgk?  kelakau butul cito shrek tu ha.. apo la ekau x poie tgk.. den golak smpi hijau muko kepala den...mcm shrek dh...hahhahaha..

sekian lama menyepi diri ni hamba sebenarnya (chewah, ayat klasik la pulok!) masih membuat kerja tangan dan kaki ini...cume kebelakangan ini den lobih kepada membuek untuk diri sendiri dan menolong sahabat handai dan keroje-keroje keras tangan...
Kerastangan?.. Ini mmg butul2 kerastangan beb.. x percaya k? Den jadi buruh kasar x berbayor... Majikan den x lain x bukan lakiden IoI   smpi kejung2 tgn den dibueknyer..patah pinggang pun ado...patah paku pun ado..lagi banyaaaakkk!...hehhehe...apo nak buek...kojo2 ni bukan dr kepakaran den walaupun ini semua den blajo dolu2...  den malu nak lotak kojo2 'hardhand' den ni...tp apo la salahnya kalu den nak lotak jugok.. sukati den la..ye tak?

I just want to share some pics of animal embelishment ordered by our preety Ms Ije..for her upcoming baby...
3 padded animal embelishment for her...She said she want to put on his blanket..coat..etc..
So, as usual, I make these plain without any pin or brooche attached.
Mr Elephant, Mr Dino and our Alex the Lion King is approximately about 6.5cm length... a bigger version from the previous.. Enjoy!

A hectic weekend...what I can say more? Just finishing Ani's order...while my partner, Hasnah doing the Teacher;s day project... We are doing some bookmarks for Teacher's Day... Syamin will help selling these at her school...
I've beem taking pics a lot to publish in my blog but haven't got the time to touch up those images...To keep this blog alive, I just need to do MORE than usual.. and put extra % ...Can I?

Chaca n Big Little Sister tee name tag

Sorry for a long non-updated post.. I am quite respect for those whom hv a day job n making crafts as their part time AND STILL HV TIME TO BLOG!...huhuhu...I am so lazy to write anything...
Meanwhile, Ije, my q-berian friends back then requested two nametag/quote for her daughter's shirt.... she have a black n  a green tee to design by me.. At first I was thinking on having 'little ustazah' or 'PM to be'...then I was stick to these 'big little sister' thing..as Ije also is waiting her baby due end of this month...So, the other one is 'Chaca', her nickname... As I don't hv the tees to sew on (leceh la nak pos2 t-shirt and post back again kan?), so I just make the names and Ije will 'jelujur' those by herself!...

Right now, we are doing names for other friends too...look like names are IN!... hehheheh..

I'm happy with broadband service lately.. quite fast.
Sadly I was on leave...not feeling very well then but my hand can't stop peeking into my craft kit bag...
SO, I did some sewing and finally manage to finish unsettled bussines.
This cute white shirt belongs to Nea Qarina, daughter of Miss Nona, one of my office colleague.
Its been a long turn and I hope its worth waiting...

If you want to be a designer...

Just sharing.
A friend of mine asking me how I get all the time I ever wanted...I mean, I am working, a wifey, a mom, with housechores and everything u can imagine... and I cook dinner, do laundry on weekdays, sweep n moping the floor, and sometimes even scrubbing toilets too (during weekdays ok guys!)...
Well, here's my secret:

I always hv my sketchbook n my notebook with me...
Sketch book for ideas n conteng2 whatever I see and what I want to do... ( I use recycle A4 paper and bind them)
Notebook  for taking orders/ quantity / email / fav website / stocks..etc
And not to forget my thumbdrive (aka pendrive as I don't hv a laptop) as your memory server...

When I see good design/motive, I draw/jot down.
and I cut my lunch time...n do sewing @ office
I do sketches every now n then...
I only 'mengadap' my computer when I satisfied with my design...
So I don't waste my time sketching ideas with computer tools without ideas in my head!..
If you want to be a designer (be it fashion designer, interior designer, book designer, advertising, cake designer, food designer, artist, painter, architect, web designer or anything related to design), always hv a sketchbook with you...and it can be a nice proper sketch book so you can show to client also! (sometimes they want to see manual sketchy ideas)...
At least they know you are full of ideas!

New pencil case

This one is ordered by one of my loyal customer, K Nor.
She wants to give this to his boy, 'Ustaz' Kazim. Kazim is 7 yrs old.
Recently K Nor had already bought 3 for her girls... so we made this one special for him..
As Kazim always lost his pencil case at school... (other boys do too!. lol..), we put his name on it.
Hope Kazim would keep this one neatly...and pls don't let this one run away!...
Mr Giraffe will keep his track home and caught you!...hahhahha

Halloo!.. I'm back!.

"Allooo!".. My nephew likes to shout the cute "alloo".. They come last weekend and it was fun having them although it was a very short trip at my hse..In the mean time, A friend manage to help us re-format our computer...and I was spending my left over weekend with re-installing programmes that I use..huhhuuh

Added with the slowness of the broadband services... I was too lazy to update my blog.. So I was taking photograph and do some touch-up with 'canvas' things we hv done weeks earlier....

Salam n hye all.
My computer broke down. Huhuhhu.. And need to re-format again...
Luckily I save all my works in my super thumb drive.. But this will takes maybe 4-5 days...
I have to admit, to delay any posting about my latest creation...
In the mean time, we are in progress of making some new theme...ANIMAL THEME!.. Kind of like Madagascar... Gloria, Alex The Great, Martin n hmmmm... I forgot.. always forgot the giraffe's name..
'You gotta to move it..  move it...' hahahha.
Anddd... we also in process to create a nice 'case'... (can't tell u now!) hehehe..Pls wait.
Hope my baby will recover soon as I can't edit pictures nor posting in the office..

The first ThREE Week...

Salam.
Its been 3 week since we started CFL(cikladyfinger)...and has been a very busy week for us part timers.. we manage at least 1-2 hour each night for CFL... We strive for originality ideas..and tried very hard to respect other craft designers. Orders still pouring in, hopefully CFL will  manage to gain her benchmark in no time.. InsyaAllah.

OK. This one is requested by my practical student/colleague...Miss Amira. She wants a big, large...extra large rose...Hmm. I wonder where she wants to pin it to... I'll took some pics if she wears it today!.. Hehehehhe...
This rose size up to about 15cm diameter. And look so glam for an event or casual dinner...

Also been requested is another baby boy package gift from a friend, Mr Acap. This time I make a Big Fishy Brooch (6cm x 4.5cm). The card size is about 10.5cm x 12cm (in folded position).

And the last one are some of the chic flowers for sale. The flowers are plain. Additional hairclip, brooch, string or hairband (getah rambut) can be attached. I try to upload this accessories later so you can choose which to be paired to.

Baby Boy Package

Here's  an order from a friend (yup, Mr Ashraf Ashaari..its you) asking for a baby boy gift. Hmm.. What do boys like? Choc? Sweets? Flowers? Or... A Car!... YES!! . A car brooch with a set of gift note packaging was presented to the special new born boy.. Well, if mama scared if the pins might prick your boy, just take it out and sew it directly onto anything..jeans, t-shirt, rompers, hat, bag or even pouch!.. That will do wonders! I've been quite busy last weekend. Running through some household chores and taming our little garden. This dark red rose has been ordered by my office coleague for her little Marissa. She would like to have it glued on her hairband. Wow! A big rose on a hairband!!..Tat's seem a bit glamourous... hehhehe... Wait till her mom gave us a picture of her posing with this on the red carpet... :)

Hye all, having limited colours of felt makes me difficult to mix n match... Until yesterday, I managed to receive my order from craftshoppe ... Lots of beautiful colour and I can't wait to make some from those... How lovely!..

With red still in my fav list, I make these red chilli flower brooch with some stitching embroidery on top of it. A great friend did ask to make without pins n clips... tats a good idea! At least they can sew it on something else...Well let me finish some orders first then I'll try to do the embelishment...

Smocking dresses...

As promised, I will publish some of (maybe all..hehhehe) my partner hv done...the best of her smocking dresses...these were done usually for the Hari Raya seasons only... As she (can we just call her Cik Senah?..ok?) As Cik Senah has 3 girls (and I dont hv any right now..huhhu) ...she is so addicted to gowns n dresses n overall. (me too!).. So, pls enjoy the last seasons projects...
